Quantity Surveyor – Oman

We are looking for a skilled and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join a leading company in the Sultanate of Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, contract administration, project budgeting, tender evaluation, cost control, and commercial management for building, infrastructure, civil engineering, and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction cost management, project valuation, variation claims, subcontractor management, procurement support, and final account settlement, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, infrastructure, or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost management, and contract administration.
• Experience in preparing BOQs, estimates, valuations, and tender documentation.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction contract management is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in the Oman or GCC construction market is an advantage.
