We are hiring qualified and experienced General Practitioners (GP Doctors) for a leading healthcare facility in Oman. The ideal candidate should hold an MBBS degree with strong experience in general medicine, family medicine, outpatient care, diagnosis, and primary healthcare services. Candidates with Oman MOH License, MOH Eligibility, Dataflow Verification, or Pearson VUE clearance will be given preference (or we will provide assistance in obtaining the MoH Oman License to practice).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and clinical assessments.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and appropriate treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory investigations.
- Provide preventive healthcare services, vaccinations, and health education.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient medical records as per MOH regulations.
- Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when required.
- Handle emergency medical cases and provide first-line treatment.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS / MD degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience after internship.
- Valid medical license from home country.
- Oman MOH License / Eligibility preferred.
- Dataflow verification and Pearson VUE/Prometric clearance will be an advantage.
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in outpatient and primary healthcare settings.
- Ability to manage patients of all age groups.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Multilingual communication skills are an advantage.
- Team-oriented with strong patient-care focus.
